I’m an ophthalmologist by training with a subspecialty in glaucoma. Working in the field, I realized that there is so much we don’t know about very basic physiopathology principles in glaucoma. I thus embarked on a journey into research, completing a research fellowship at UCSF and now doing a PhD in biomechanics. I’m committed to improving the way we approach eye diseases as clinicians by building a bridge between computer scientists, engineers, and medical doctors. Fighting blindness one multidisciplinary step at a time!
